When you do your shopping list, make sure ‘recycle plastic bag’ is always on your list. You can recycle your plastic bags generally at your local supermarket.
Hang a cloth bag in your pantry and put ALL your plastic bags (shopping, bread, plastic wrap, newspaper bags) in the same place. That way dangerous plastic bags cannot get loose and end up washing down gutters, into rivers and oceans and harming animals.
Keep your reusable cloth bag near your door, your hand bag or somewhere you will see it.
